Bacogai was founded by three best friends bonded with love for food and a desire to introduce ‘not-so-everyday’ Vietnamese dishes to different communities around the Bay Area.
Our journey began with a shared passion for cooking that was cultivated through cherished childhood memories of family gatherings in the bustling streets of Vietnam. Driven by a desire to bring these flavors in a novel and inventive way, we combined our individual life experiences and flairs to craft something truly extraordinary. And so, ‘Bacogai’ was born—a name that symbolizes and merges our Vietnamese roots along with a tight bond to our friendship.
Every bite should spark a culinary revelation, inviting diners to explore the rich tapestry of elevated Vietnamese flavors. With traditional Vietnamese recipes, we breathe new life into classic dishes, infusing them with modern techniques and familiar flavors.
